Over 200 LSE alumni and other guests last night welcomed fellow graduate Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou to the School’s Shaikh Zayed theatre for a special event on entrepreneurship and philanthropy.
After a brisk 30 presentation in which Sir Stelios gave his audience a candid account of how he set up Europe’s favourite airline, he then answered questions on a wide range of subjects including Brexit, the future of UK higher education and help for disabled businessmen.
