Stelios donation to allow three Doukas students to study Baccalaureate course

20 April 2018

In 1984 Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou graduated from Doukas High School in Athens, Greece before moving to study at the London School of Economics. Now the easyJet founder has given back €500k to fund three scholarships at the Doukas school over five years – (starting from 2015) in order to help underprivileged children from Athens (Stelios’ birthplace) to get a better education.

This donation will allow three students annually to study for the three year LIKION (International Baccalaureate) course.

Applications are now open for the 2018 intake. Please apply at:ibo.org
