The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation offers 100.000€ to the Hellenic Red Cross
Sir Stellios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyJet, the easyGroup group and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, announces a € 100,000 offer to the Greek Red Cross, aiming at the relief of those affected by the devastating fires of 23 July 2018 in Attica.
The amount was deposited in the account created earlier today by the Hellenic Red Cross for the support of the affected:

And marks the recognition of the remarkable work of the Hellenic Red Cross, who remains in the affected areas and works alongside the Greek state and local authorities with both its human resources and rescue equipment.
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou said:
“Taking into account the state of emergency in which the affected areas of Attica are and recognizing the important work that the Hellenic Red Cross has done throughout the past years, the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation moves swiftly and offers the significant amount, always aiming at the direct relief of our fellow human beings.”
