Applications are now open for the 2017 Stelios Awards for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK.
The deadline is: 6 October 2017
A total of £70,000 will be won.
top prize of £30,000 to the overall winner
four prizes of £10,000 to four other finalists
And this year the award is open to all forms of entrepreneurship (including pre-revenue start-ups)
We are inviting applications from entrepreneurs who started their companies in the UK in the last 7 years (2010 or later). However, all forms of entrepreneurial activities even without a registered company qualify and people planning to start a business activity (even with just business plans at the pre-revenue stage) are welcome to apply. The award is also open to charities and social enterprises.
The applicant must be registered with a disability and own at least half of the business. The applicant must have an active online presence. Past winners and applicants are welcome to reapply. The closing date for applications is midnight, 6 October 2017. The winners will be announced at a cocktail reception in London on 14 November 2017.
All qualified applicants will be invited to the event!
