The Food from the heart programme and its continuous growth through 2015

2015 was a year full of surprises for our Food from the heart programme.

Food from the heart has helped more than 15000 people and distributed 15000 snacks.
In 2015, two new collaborations were added to our agenda. Food from the heart and the Greek local initiative "All together we can" started giving snacks via churches all over Greece while the large influx of refugees in the Greek islands gave birth to our second collaboration with the Municipality of Samos.
Three new distribution centers opened in Athens. Today we hand out snacks through our 8 distribution points in Greece and Cyprus.
Last but not least, the change of our previous product (croissant) to "tsourekaki" (a traditional Greek treat) was the big surprise for all our beneficiaries.

In 2016, Food from the heart programme aims to reach a larger number of islands and cover some of the basic needs that have arisen during the last year and always welcomes new proposals for Greece and Cyprus.
