Branded snack company offers variety to Stelios Foundation’s ‘Food from the Heart’ programme!

2nd June 2015

The Stelios Foundation's 'Food From The Heart' initiative has teamed up with Greek snack company Chipita. Their co-operation will see the company's croissant brands 'Molto' being distributed by the programme.

From June 1, the registered beneficiaries at its Athens Keramikos site will receive individually packaged long shelf life croissants with praline filling – branded with the Foundation and Molto logos!

The 'Food From The Heart' programme started in Cyprus in May 2013 and now has five serving locations – 3 in Limassol, 1 in Nicosia and 1 in Athens. To date, it has 9,000 registered beneficiaries and has given out more than 1,250,000 snacks to people in need.

The programme is operated on a strictly non-discriminatory basis, anyone can register by visiting a FFTH site and provide basic contact details. These, along with a photo taken on-site, are used to create a card which entitles beneficiaries to receive a daily snack. The current offering at the Keramikos site is 5 croissants for each registered beneficiary who physically visits the site – the opening hours are 12:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday.

More information on the FFTH programme can be found HERE.
