£50,000 competition launches to find Stelios Disabled Entrepreneur of the Year 2010

From 7 June, disabled entrepreneurs across the UK can enter to win the £50,000 Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneur in the UK by submitting the application form and complying with the Award criteria.

This major award is run by Leonard Cheshire Disability and sponsored by easyGroup Chairman Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou - through the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation; it was presented in 2009 to John Pickup of Amputees in Action, a business that specializes in supplying amputee extras and stuntmen for film, television and military casualty training.

Winners announced for Stelios Awards for Business Co-operation in Cyprus 2009

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyJet and serial entrepreneur, today presented five entrepreneurs with EUR50,000 each for their work in promoting business cooperation in Cyprus at an award ceremony at the Chateau Status restaurant in Nicosia's buffer zone.

On 19th November, Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyJet and serial entrepreneur announced the winners of the Stelios Award for Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Greece - 2009.

The prize, administrated by the ALBA Business School in Athens, is worth €50,000 and will help to give the winners, ZooBYTES at zoo.gr, the funding they need to enable their business to grow.
